1. What We Collect

GiftRack collects the minimum data needed to provide its functionality:

• Account data — your email address when you sign in
• Gift records — gifts you log: person names, amounts, dates, descriptions
• Contact data — only if you explicitly enable contact sync: names, phone numbers, birthdays
• Device token — a push notification identifier (Firebase Cloud Messaging) if you enable reminders
• Wishlist items — items you add to your wishlist (private until you share a link)

We do not collect location data, financial information, or any behavioral analytics. There are no advertising SDKs in GiftRack.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To store your gift history and sync it across your devices
• To send event reminders via push notifications (only if enabled)
• To make your wishlist accessible when you choose to share a link

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (servers in Tokyo, Japan). All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Push notification tokens are processed by Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google). We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Wishlists

Wishlists are private by default. A wishlist becomes publicly accessible only when you generate and share a link from within the app. You can make any wishlist private again at any time — the shared link will stop working immediately.

5. Your Rights & Data Deletion

• Export your data — Settings → Export data
• Delete your account — Settings → Delete account (permanently removes all your data)

6. Children

GiftRack is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

7. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. If we make significant changes, we will notify you within the app.
